british american tobacco nigeria - Public place smoking

We support regulation that limits non-smokers’ involuntary exposure to environmental tobacco smoke and accommodates the interests of both non-smokers and smokers.

We believe that governments, employers, the hospitality industry, the tobacco industry, consumers and others can work together on practical initiatives.  These include providing separate smoking and non-smoking areas and ventilation to reduce involuntary exposdure to second-hand smoke.

We support segregation and separation with adequate provision for smokers.  We also accept that there needs to be balanced regulation regarding public place smoking.
